Company settings

Filled in once, and it heads every proposal, invoice and printed document from then on.

Company - name, licence numbers, address, phone, email and website. These appear on every document and in the footer of every email, and they are what makes the paperwork look like it came from your company rather than from software.

Defaults - tax rate, markup, contingency, payment terms, retainage, and the standard terms that prefill on every proposal and purchase order. Setting these properly is an hour that saves a minute on every document for years.

Email delivery - covered in its own section.

The document preview on the settings page updates as you type, so you can see the letterhead before anything is sent with it.
